This all depends on the order, but as general rule – as much time as possible! A minimum of 3 days is required. But it’s better to place your order early, since sometimes I might be really busy with wholesale orders. Our schedule does book out, so the more in advance, the better.

I thrive on a diet made up of whole, plant-based foods that are minimally processed and organically grown whenever possible. I believe a balanced diet makes room for indulgence like cake and chocolate … clean versions of those of course! I don’t strictly label my diet under any other category than vegan. I am, however, naturally drawn to raw foods like fresh fruit and vegetables. I know how eating high carbohydrate food (low in fat and protein) makes my body feel fresh and energised.
I have always had a little vegan living in me, knowing that eating animals is ethically and morally wrong. Animals are sentient beings, just like us humans are. I realised I couldn’t cause suffering and death to any other animal, especially when it is NOT necessary. The more research I read and the more real life examples of people thriving on a vegan diet, the more convinced I became of a vegan diet being the only healthy diet out there. I figured if I care about my health, animals and the environment, being vegan is the only option.
Our mission at Rawlicious Delicious is to show you how easy and delicious a plant-based diet is. My raw treats have won over so many people, who had the idea that vegan food is just lettuce and carrots sticks. It makes me extremely happy to be able to change those views and spread the vegan message.
Some of the ingredients you see a lot of when browsing my recipes are:
- Raw nuts and seeds – good snacks, use in recipes or make your own nut butters and milks.
- Raw cacao powder and butter – I use these a lot in my dessert recipes.
- Chia seeds – great natural thickener or to use in desserts, smoothies and crackers.
- Flax seeds/ Flax meal – another great natural thickener.
- Herbs and spices – I go crazy with these! If you are not used to using herbs and spices, don’t be afraid to shop around, test them and choose the ones you love.
- Coconut oil – I use this in most of my raw dessert recipes, it’s also great for cooking! Although I usually prepare my cooked meals without oil.
- Dried fruit – make sure you choose sulphur, preservative free and organic if possible.
- Sweeteners – maple syrup, rice malt syrup and dried fruit.
- Nutritional yeast – I LOVE this stuff! It has vitamin B12, it tastes like cheese and you can sprinkle it on pretty much all savoury foods. Especially great when making raw vegan cheese.
- Grains – buckwheat, oats, quinoa, rice.
I started the blog in hopes to talk about food, my recovery from an eating disorder and share my new found passion for food. In the beginning my blog didn’t really have a focus. This year my passion to sharing the vegan message has got stronger, so I am focusing more on encouraging people to try vegan food/ incorporate more plant foods in their diet or completely adopt a vegan diet.
Not coming from a food or photography background, I had to teach myself how to cook, style and shoot my food creations. It’s been an adventure and you might notice the change in my photos if you look back to my older posts!
It totally depends on the brand. I do product reviews occasionally, if I truly love the brand, use their product and the company ethics matches my values, then why not! As an example please see my review of Mukti Organics here. Same goes with advertising. If the product is vegan and related to the topic, feel free to contact me.
I get the inspiration for my recipes from literally everywhere! Restaurants, books, internet and just playing with food in my kitchen!
Feel free to share my recipes on your social media, but I prefer if you simply link it back to my blog. If you have significantly changed the recipe, I would still appreciate it if you credited me on your page and link it back to my blog.
