Gingerbread Chocolate Truffles

Two of my favorites combined! These gingerbread chocolate truffles are out of this world. I have confessed my obsession over gingerbread before but add chocolate and it’s on a completely new level. Gooey soft filling with warming Christmas spices covered in melt in your mouth raw chocolate. Heaven. This recipe is gluten free, raw, vegan and you only need handful of ingredients. Make a big batch, store in the freezer and enjoy a delicious piece of Christmas memories after the crazy season is over. Gingerbread Chocolate Truffles



1 cup walnuts
1 cup dates, pitted
1/2 – 1 tbsp ginger powder
1/2 – 1 tbsp all spice/ mixed spice
pinch of salt

Chocolate Coating 

1/2 cup raw cacao powder
1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
1/3 cup brown rice syrup

  1. Blend all the filling ingredients to a sticky dough. You can start with the smaller amount of spices, taste and add more if needed.
  2. Roll into balls and pop in the freezer.
  3. In the meanwhile, mix all the chocolate ingredients together.
  4. Dip one gingerbread dough ball in chocolate and repeat with the remaining balls. Pop the gingerbread chocolate truffles in the fridge or freezer to set. Enjoy!Gingerbread Chocolate Truffles
