Mango Bliss Balls (Raw Vegan Gluten Free)

Summer is here! And in Australia it means Mangoes! Oh the sweet, juicy, tropical goodness of mangoes. It’s Christmas next week and no body has extra time to spare. Therefor these mango bliss balls only take 5 minutes to make.

For the mix, I went for cashews and coconut, but you could use your favorite nuts or only coconut, if you want to leave the nuts out. I took a little short cut and bought local dried mango, but you can easily make your own in a dehydrator too if you like. I rolled half of the mango bliss balls in desiccated coconut, and half in freeze dried mango powder.Mango Bliss Balls

These are the perfect snack to have around when you’re craving something sweet but healthy. Have one, have three, have six – no one’s looking.

Ingredients

1 cup cashews
1 cup dried mango
1 cup dates, pitted
1/3 cup desiccated coconut + extra for rolling
zest of 1 lime
pinch salt

  1. Soak dried mango in warm water for few minutes. Drain and dry from extra water with paper towel.
  2. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until sticky mixture is formed.
  3. Roll into balls and roll the balls in desiccated coconut. Enjoy!Mango Bliss Balls
